It shows great examples of Jamaican artists throughout the decades as well as specifically Jamaican movements such as the Intuitives (self taught artists). It showcases a variety of traditional and contemporary art forms and media utilized by Jamaican artists as well as artistic explorations of various subjects and themes relevant to Jamaican, Caribbean and global culture.
This permanent exhibition is closed for reinstallation, although the Early Intuitives Gallery with works by John Dunkley and David Miller Senior and Junior remains open.
